Hey I'm Lachy, I also was a monster in Jess's belly (using past tense beacuse she ate).
I'm pretty much a simpleton who enjoys a good day on the green, with a cigar in hand. Most things that appeal to me are some what of a unique nature and pretty hardcore. I enjoy AFL and Cricket but mostly you'll find me conjouring up a spell of some sort in my magical tower of nitram (named after jess).

What's On In Your Town?

I guess statistics are clear and pretty good proof that today's society and generation of youth are, well boring.
I mean what happened to the days of riding your bike in street gangs, fighting with sticks in cubby houses in the bush, or girls playing with their doll houses and dress ups? They're long gone.

Today society sucks us into technology, its all about technology. What's the use calling your friend when facebook or msn is right there easy peasy. Saves time, effort and money. What's wrong outside playing sport or running around with mates? Nope, sorry i here the buttons being pushed on an x-box or a playstation, even the glued eyes drawn to the that box call TV, your trapped.

Well maybe its time to look at this differently, time to get of the internet and the game consoles. Do something real and just as fun. Like what you say? Well just look around you in your community, there is heaps going on all the time. You could be at the movies, band gigs, art shows, drama performances, book fairs, fetes, skateparks or the beach even.

I'm not here to grind technology into the ground, it's a great thing we all use it and really we all need it in this day in age, but we have to look at this from a real perspective. We need to endulge in it moderately, we need to ensure that our brains don't turn to mush. So still have fun with technology but not on a radical level. Just open your mind to the possibilities of what else is outside the comfort of your home, and that could be your opportunity, or big break for something new and fun even awesome.

So here's the deal, i do all the hard stuff in making you aware of this growing trend throughout society, i make you feel like doing something else then shooting up cars on xbox.
