Notes

During the class we discussed what topics classmembers were interested in focussing our communications project on. Suggestions included:

• Animal Cruelty
• Youth Issues - drugs and alcohol, gender issues, youth access to services and support, fashion and entertainment, young people and the arts
• Environmental Issues
• Human Rights Issues - racism
• Women's Issues

Consensus was that we would develop a communication project aimed at 'young people' which was the most flexible topic as it could encompass a range of related issues and topics that various class members are interested in.
